Jake sighs and nods after the discussion with Zoe. "Well, that was fun. Okay, move out. Stay together. Kelti, while Dunixi is running scans on the ship, stick close to me and Gunner."
He walked to the hatch, opening it, seeing their new home for the first time.
Gunner steps out after the Captain, alert and ready for trouble, weapon in hand.
ReplyDeleteHe looks around, watching the landscape. If he didn't know better, he'd say they had landed on some forested area of Earth instead of some far-off place god-only-knows where.
He kept a protective stance near Zoe, watching for her reaction.
Kelti would much rather have been by Dunixi's side, working on the ship, but she did as instructed and stayed close to Jake and Gunner.
ReplyDeleteShe stepped out, surveying the landscape, seeing a scene much like a forested area on Earth - back before so much destruction and decay had set in.
There were sounds in the distance - animals of some sort. Hopefully not dangerous ones.
She moved closer to Gunner, taking some comfort in his alert, protective stance.
